Yellow Faille Gown
Oscar de la Renta may be gone, but his spirit lives in the gowns that are produced by his house. This week I've got a particularly fabulous design. It's cut from vivid yellow faille embellished throughout with clusters of black beaded flowers. It has a fitted, sleeveless bodice with a round neckline over a grand layered skirt with a high-low hem. Call out the black beading with a black diamond rivière, earrings & ring. Complete the look with black suede open pumps and a black crystal clutch.
Floral Chiffon Gown
This airy floral gown is from Elie Saab. It's made from chiffon printed with oversized flowers in black, blue and yellow on a white background. It has a strapless bustier bodice with a blue sequin accented floral appliqué on one side that extends onto a lavish gathered skirt that finishes with a hem flounce for added movement. Call back to the yellow in the print with yellow diamond dangle earrings and ring. Call out to the blue with blue suede pumps and carry a silver crystal bow minaudière.
Pink Ombre Gown
Pamella Roland has taken glowing pink ombre faille and turned it into a magical gown. The color ranges from a coral pink at the top to a lavender pink near the hem. It has a fitted, single shoulder bodice with a ruched wrap across the bust and shoulder. The extravagant skirt brushes the floor all around. The richness of yellow gold is particularly beautiful with this gown. I've got diamond pave earrings and stackable rings for jewels and gold open pumps & a vintage Chanel minaudière to finish.
Lavender Top Gown
Saiid Kobeisy is a special favorite of mine. This week I've got a gown in lavender & white satin with floral beading on the skirt. It has a strapless bustier bodice in the lavender satin with a sweetheart neckline and diagonal pleating across the bust. The trumpet skirt is done in the white satin with floral beading to the knee where it flares, ending in a little train. Bring sparkle around your face with a diamond pendant & earrings. Finish with lavender embellished sandals and a crystal bag.
Pink-To-Blue Ombre Maxi-Dress
It's the kind of charming design we've come to expect from Zimmermann. This pretty maxi-dress is cut from a silk/linen blend in pink to blue ombre. It has a strapless bustier bodice over a full gathered skirt that ends at the ankle. Wear it for a night out on a tropical vacation with white gold palm frond earrings, bracelet and a chain necklace. White mules and a straw bag finish the look.
Coral Floral Maxi-Dress
For your much anticipated winter getaway, Cara Cara brings a maxi-dress that will make the most of your sunny glow. It's cut from coral cotton printed with yellow flowers and purple berries. It suspends from spaghetti straps on a fitted bodice with a V-neckline and a slightly raised waist. The skirt drops to the floor in multiple gathered tiers. Add touches of gold with a locket pendant and door-knocker earrings. Finish off with gold flat sandals and a straw bag.
Floral Meadow Midi-Dress
I really love this dress from Oscar de la Renta. It's made from a cotton/viscose blend in a meadow print with multi-colored flowers and leaves on a dark, tonal green background. It has a sleeveless, bodice with a round neckline and darting for a snug fit. The elegant A-line skirt reaches just below the knee. Wear your favorite gold jewelry and call out to the red flowers with red sandals and bag.
Persian Style Sequined Mini-Dress
If you still haven't decided what to wear for New Year's Eve, I have a suggestion from Balmain. It's a stunning, fully sequined mini-dress that flashes with colors in an intricate Persian inspired pattern. It has long, slender sleeves and squared-off shoulders with button details and a raised, banded neckline on a fitted sheath silhouette that ends at mid-thigh. Style it with gold fringe earrings and pink Bigli stacking rings. Finish off with black satin sandals and clutch.
Crystal Fringe Tuxedo
On New Year's Eve, some people will be at stuffy balls. Others will be howling in the streets. You will be at a soigné gathering with a few close friends. I've got just the thing for this kind of evening. It's a black crepe tuxedo from Pamella Roland. It's slim-cut with notch lapels and squared shoulders with strands of crystal fringe over the back and shoulders. The straight-leg pants brush the floor. Echo the fringe with long dangle diamond earrings and finish with black suede boots and bag.
Embroidered Sweater Outfit
I've got a sweater from Giambattista Valli that's knitted from 80% cashmere, 20% silk and 100% pretty. It's soft ivory embroidered with tonal green garlands throughout. Wear it over Alexandre Vauthier's wool grain de poudre tailored trousers in light cream with a high waist and straight, full-length legs. Bring a touch of shine to your ears with gold earrings and sparkle to your hand with a peridot ring. Create endless legs with light cream ankle boots and carry a toast beige bag.
